Allure Marketing Group in New York, NY is excited to announce that team member Chrissy Kim has been promoted to Assistant Management! Here is an interview where she reviews what has helped her to get to this level at AMG.
AMG: How long have you been with Allure Marketing Group?
CK: 9 Months
AMG: What was your motivation throughout the past few months?
CK: I always had big goals and dreams and I knew I would be able to find the right career for me that will lead me to reaching them. That’s what drove me everyday to work hard to obtain what I had envisioned for myself.
AMG: What has helped you to create team unity?
CK: Team unity is one of the most important aspects of being successful in business. To create that team unity, you really need to find a good balance between being a friend and a leader. The more I exposed about myself the more I got closer to everyone and was able to build a close relationship. People want to know you’re human as well and that you go through things even as a mentor/leader. Also, consistently doing team activities and creating a vision daily to make sure we consistently were reaching our goals.
AMG: What has it been like since getting promoted to Assistant Management?
CK: It’s been absolutely awesome! I’m learning more and more, and having more responsibilities that make me feel closer and closer to running my own office, which has been one of my biggest goals.
AMG: What was the biggest challenge you faced during your growth process?
CK: The biggest challenge I faced was learning how to leave all distractions and negativity at the door before walking into work.
AMG: What are your goals now?
CK: My goal now is to keep my foot on the gas to management and run a successful office. But my ultimate goal is to be the first Korean female VP in this company.
AMG: What advice do you have for those looking to be on the fast track to promotion?
CK: My advice to them would be “Don’t think, just do” and also to always have a student mentality. Don’t ever lose sight of your goals and remember that you’re awesome; that you deserve to live a great life but you have to earn it.
AMG: What part of the training has helped you the most?
CK: I would say the whole marketing and sales system. Just follow the system and don’t try to re-invent the wheel – it does not work.
AMG: What has been your favorite thing about what you do so far?
CK: I love helping people become successful and being a part of their growth. I also love how we’ve become a family.
AMG: What has been the greatest lesson that you’ve learned since working at Allure Marketing Group?
CK: The greatest lesson I’ve learned is that you have to know what you want and go after it without any hesitation. There will be bumps along the way but that is what makes it all worth it!
